Your half-finger gloves are best to be used during hot days, but are safe enough to use on normal temperature days as well. In addition, they allow air to properly circulate, which decreases the chance of sweat building up inside your hands and forming unnecessary bacteria and germs. These gloves are designed to cover the entire inside of your palm, providing protection from hits, scratches, or any other mishaps. Perhaps the most advantageous factor in half-finger gloves is that they allow you to feel the paintball gun trigger in its entirety. As a result, this allows you the ability to fire much faster. The downside to these gloves is that they offer less insulation against shock from firing the trigger. On the other hand, full finger gloves completely cover the hands and fingers. They can be worn on normal or hot days as well. While they do provide the warmth and protection that the half-finger gloves do not, their biggest disadvantage is that they somewhat restrict your finger movement. In turn, because of the interference from the gloves, this has a tendency to slow down your firing rate.
